Fairy’s fire flower with painting process

I wanted to paint a little something with dramatic sparkly lights and this fairy is what came about.
I had no initial plan for the piece. I started sketching away and “feel my way”. It was more half experiment and some intuition, I had a particular “feeling” and sort of “tone” I wanted to achieve and I’m pretty satisfied with the end result. This was all created using procreate. The Timelapse video was exported from the procreate app.
